monetary donations, do you want them before friday or at the event?

Thanks for asking, if you can, just drop any donation (big or small) at 924 Beach Blvd. If you do this before the hunt, that would be great, if not that day would be fine. All monies left over go to next year's hunt.
Thanks, Scotto

After Thursday's snow storm, it wasn't looking good for today's Easter Egg Hunt. But, after the storm was over, past Beach resident Doug Cowells took the time to snow plow the whole baseball diamond and field area to allow the hunt to go ahead. Considering the weather, it was a record turnout. The crowd cheered as they watched the pipe band march the Easter Bunny from Dieppe Park to the ball diamond.
Thanks to the organizers and all the volunteers who made this the best Easter Hunt ever.
A big thank you to all who donated anonymously.
Also thank you to area businesses and people who chipped in one way or another.
Rick Creechan from Hutch's on the Beach.
Randy Creechan from Price Choppers at Barton and Gage.

And of course the Easter Bunny.

EASTER EGG HUNT: A treasure trove of goodies ready to be eaten

Sheryl Nadler, the Hamilton Spectator
Good Friday was an especially good day for children like Chloe MacIntyre, 6, foreground, who darted around gathering up Easter eggs at Dieppe Park on Beach Boulevard.
