Well if there are any active hunters on the beach and not meaning animal hunters.
Years ago i dug and dug a deep hole under a tower on the beach,put some things in a jar or plastic container, coins, papers, misc stuff. so when you young ones get out there in the summer time look under the tower .go down woodland ave ,look to the left and that tower there,go under it and keep looking up til you se the two X's line up. then dig below, that where ya might find some things.
