BURLINGTON CANAL LIFT BRIDGE
PARKING LOT CLOSURE
AUGUST 16 AND AUGUST 31, 2010
Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) wishes to advise that the parking lot adjacent to the south pier of the Burlington Canal Lift Bridge will be closed to the public on the days of August 16, 2010 and August 31, 2010, for repairs to the pier wall. These dates are reliant on weather conditions.
The Waterfront Trail will remain open, but may occasionally close for short durations to allow equipment and vehicles access to the work site.
Safety is a top priority for PWGSC during this project. On behalf of PWGSC and Transport Canada, we apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and thank everyone for their understanding.
