Dear Resident:

In Septernber of 2008 I invited Beach Community residents to
participate in a neighbourhood wide park development process.
Since that time, City staff and I have met with those who volunteered
and we have collectively developed a plan to enhance three open
space areas on Beach Boulevard. A public open house will be held
to receive feedback and comments:

When: Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

Where: Lakeland Community Centre, Van Wagners Road

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pam.

If you are unable to attend the open house, please contact my office
and I will forward the proposed plans to your residence.

Not from this end, but they stated that the parking lot at the end of the beach strip will be paved and a soccer field will be put in.

Also a tennis court for the locals but no parking, only able to walk to it

or ride your bike I guess.

I was loaned some of the plans that the City brought forward at the Beach Blvd Park Development meeting, yes it looks pretty nice.

Site 1, approximately 1.47 hectares (3.6 ac) in size, with no municipal address (near the canal).

Site 2, approximately 0.55 hectares (1.4 ac) in size, at 80 Beach Blvd.

Site 3, approximately 0.22 hectares (0.5 ac) in size, at 189 Beach Blvd (Skyway Park)
