I found this info in the google book site (pages 13 and 14) and saw this pic of the overpass. Anyone know when it was removed?

That was the pedestrian overpass that allowed people to cross the street safely to the amusement park when the Beach was part of the QEW highway. I actually don't recall it being demolished but I assume it was done when the park was closed back in 1974.

I actually walk over it, I don't know why as the traffic was never that bad when I worked at the amusement park.

Many of the rides, but mostly the Ferris wheel.
