Re: Beach strip
Three cheers for the city's public works department, as they have performed a miraculous transformation of Hamilton beach.
It was only about a month ago that winter had taken its toll on the beach, with lots of flotsam and jetsam littering the sandy shore and trail. A garbage pick-up day helped get rid of some unsightly trash. However since then, city crews have combed the beach clean of debris, big and small, and left an almost resort-like place for all of us to enjoy.
Along with the great weather on the weekend, it was a pleasure to stay home and just enjoy the Lake Ontario waterfront trail and the natural beauty of our own lake and Hamilton beach.
