I couldn't see Beach Blvd on this. It shows beach Rd. Or did I miss it?

I just noticed that the book is listed by street name not lookup by names like we have now. I wonder when it changed to names?
This would be the Vernon`s Directory, I assume this is the old phone book. All the years that were printed are available at the Central Library on microfilm, I haven't seen it posted on the net until now.
The Beach wasn't part of Hamilton back then so it wasn't listed, I do see the Burlington Beach Commission listed on pages 378 and 1012. The address is for an office in Hamilton which is a little puzzling as they had their own office near the canal.
As for the alphabetical listing, yes different than today, I see street listings in the front with phone numbers and the back section has alphabetical listings with what you did for a living, but no phone number.

I didn't even notice no phone numbers. DUH

Interesting seeing what businesses were around then and where they were located.
