Member Tammy Dalgleish asked me to post this important post;
Wow I did not know that, I walked my dog down there on a daily basis and
have found some strange things but never needles.
Now this scares me because she runs ahead of me chasing sticks and and balls
and playing. I would never myself walk along in bare feet on the beach but
animals have no protection.
I love my dog to much to see her hurt in this way, what can we as residents
on the beach do to solve this problem and how about some sort of patrol at
night time for this kind of thing.....
Just a question
Thanks to Tammy, but I think we need a little more info. Did you find the needles on the beach near the lake or close to the Path??
Could they of just washed up on shore during a storm?
In either case we don't want these things just lying around for our pets and children to come in contact with.
I thought it would be a good idea to get a few pictures to prove Tammy's point, but we recieved a couple feet of snow last night, so that won't happen for a while.
