Notification of Filming

On Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005, the feature film for television entitled “The Shrink” will be filming at Dynes Tavern, 337 Beach Blvd. There will be a shot on the beach during the morning and other scenes outside of the Tavern. Hamilton Police may need to do intermittent stoppage of traffic on the Beach Blvd during some of the filming.

There will also be some driving shots with a police escort that will proceed down Beach Blvd and Eastport Drive, as well as shots of vehicles passing by the camera on both Beach and Eastport.

This movie is being produced by the Canadian production company Chester/Permutter Productions and stars Mariel Hemmingway.

To facilitate filming it will be necessary to park some trucks in the parking lots on either side of Dynes or in the Hamilton Beach Rescue parking lot.

From the short time I was at the Dynes today, this filming location was used for a couple of different shots. The first one was filming at the front entrance of the Tavern and for today was the Sandusky (Ohio) Roadhouse Rest Stop. The scene had an actress talking on the pay phone then leaving for Cincinnati on a bus.
At the back of the Dynes, it was a gas bar stop at some broken down garage on the way to Cincy.
If anyone see this show coming up on the TV, please post to let everyone know, should have some good clips of the Beach.

My Mom saw the police across the road and told my Dad something was going on. He looked out and saw someone laying on the ground in the yard next to them so he went outside.
It was the camera man laying on the ground shooting across the street.
His neighbour asked him about it the next day. LOL
I'll give my dad heck for now getting pics for you.
