CLARK, Alan Stuart Passed away at St. Peter's Hospital on August 20, 2009, in his 82nd year. Loving husband of the late Helen. Dear father of Bob (Susan) of Stoney Creek, David (Michelle) of Hamilton, Wendy (Ray) of Niagara Falls. Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Tanya (Alex), Ashley (Nathan), Megan (Dave) and Kelly (Chris). Loving great-grandfather of Gavin, Sophia and Alex. Dear brother of the late Bruce (Sally), and the late Bev and brother-in-law of Jean, Barbara (Jack), John (Audrey), Bill (Pauline), and the late Betty (Russ). Alan was a close friend of Betty Dean and her late husband Roy, by Agnes Hann and her late husband Russ and by the late Andrew and Virginia Brown. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends, especially at Melody Bay Resort in Buckhorn, ON. Alan was a long time resident of Beach Blvd. He retired from Stelco Inc. after 42 years of service as the Yardmaster of Transportation. At Alan's request, cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 1 p.m. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society. A very special thank you to the staff at St. Peter's Hospital on 3E, the staff at St. Joseph's Head and Neck Ward and also to Dr. Sheila Lamb.
