DAVIDSON, John Albert "Jack" Peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with his family at his side after a short and courageous battle with cancer, Jack Davidson passed away at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Patricia for 16 years. Loving step-father of Doug (Laurie) and Sheri (Jason). Cherished Papa of Alexandra, Jessica, and Grace. Predeceased by his parents George and Dora Davidson, and his infant sister Sheila Colleen (born 1930). Dear brother of Jim (Catherine) and Bill (Suzanne). Jack will also be missed by his nephews, his many friends at Alcoholics Anonymous and the Flamborough Seniors Group. Jack was raised on the beach strip, attended Bell Cairn Memorial School, and graduated Central High in Hamilton. His working life was spent managing in the trucking industry, progressing to investment real estate and property assessment. Jack was a long-time member of Alcoholics Anonymous, sober for 29 years by the grace of God. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering, where refreshments will be served will take place at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME , 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 12-3 p.m. If desired, donations made in memory of Jack to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
