The Imperial Cobourg passing through the piers in approximately the summer of 1948 although this vessel's main runs were between Sarnia and Perry Sound for the Imperial Oil Co. Built in Scotland in 1913 as the Imperoyal, she assisted in both World Wars and was renamed Imperial Cobourg in 1947.
Just to give the year some validity, I asked an expert what cars were in the parking watching the ship transit out of Hamilton.
From left to right. 46 Hudson sedan, 39 Chevrolet sedan, 47 Chev coupe, 40 Ford sedan.
