The Toronto-bound lanes of the Queen Elizabeth Way have reopened near Eastport Drive, but two Niagara-bound lanes remain closed for cleanup after transport truck lost control early Friday afternoon.
The truck, carrying asphalt, on the Niagara-bound lanes of the highway blew a tire and lost control at the foot of the Burlington Skyway, hitting a concrete wall and sliding along the median around 1 p.m., said Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.
