It's that time of year again – the Around the Bay 30k Road Race is scheduled for Sunday March 27, 2011.
The Hamilton Around the Bay 30k Road Race will have over nine thousand runners running in the oldest road race in North America.
Each year the Around the Bay Road Race has grown and is now one of the largest, historical races in Canada. The Bay Race is also a fundraiser for St. Joseph's Hospital Healthcare Foundation with over $150,000.00 being raised last year.
This year will be another record year with over eleven thousand participants in the 30k and 5k from all over Canada and the United States.
As in past years, Beach Blvd will be closed for about four hours in the morning to early afternoon, so plan your day around this race.
