Dear Beach Residents;
As it has for the past 118 years, The Around The Bay Road Race, will be taking place
On Sunday March 24,2013
This is the 118th Anniversary of the Around the Bay Road Race and will see over eight
thousand participants running through Hamilton and Burlington. Money raised through
Donations and Pledges is for St. Joseph's Healthcare. Over the past several years this event
has raised over $1,300,000.
The Around the Bay 30k Road Race is the oldest road race in North America, established
three years before the Boston Marathon.
We are writing to advise that the race will be passing through your area between 9:45am
and 11: 15am on March 24, 2013 and will cause some minor traffic delays All residents are
encouraged to come out on the course and cheer on those participating.
Also, we thank all the residents in the vicinity, for their support and understanding each
