I don't believe I informed you that about a month ago I put in a mass a appeal for about 50 homes on the Bayside sidestreets that are prone to flooding. We used the 1998 Engineering report to determine what homes fell into the area.
I met today with MPAC officials to discuss the matter further, and they agreed to reduce the 2006 assessed values by 15% for the following homes:
14, 18, 20, 22, 24, 23 & 29 Wickham Ave.
16 & 21 Grafton
14, 18, 22, 13, 17, 21, 25 & 27 Comet
2, 4, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 1, 5, 7, 9, 15, 21, 23, 25, & 29 Granville
8, 16, 18, 20 & 22 Clare
1, 3, 9, 17 Lagoon
15, 20, 21, 26 & 30 Arden Ave
The City Tax Department will send notices to homeowners advising of this after we receive official confirmation from MPAC.
