HOPING FOR A SPEEDO RESOLUTION
STRIKING A POSE
: Unionized employees of Burlington-based Hood Packaging Corporation, 2300 McDowell Rd., are out on strike. Faced with the prospect of walking a picket line during last Friday's extremely hot weather, employees Billy Adams and Guy Gamache sported bathing suits and hats in an effort to keep cool. The two employees said their union -- the United Steelworkers -- is fighting for an increase in wages and improved pensions. The scantily-clad men were drawing the attention of passing motorists, some of whom offered a response by honking their horns.
