We went for a walk down to the pier yesterday before it got dark to see what the last storm left us and what a slippery sight. Environment Canada said we had wave heights from 2 to 3 metres. At the storms peak, the lake level reached 75.25 M. All of this rebuilt the ice wall along the beach and left some interesting finds on the pier.
Some nice shots, I didn't even see this one yesterday.
More from Confederation Park near where the boat launch was located and not far from shore, I see many people travel much further out on the ice banks.
I didn't expect to get this thread going again, when last Wednesday's snow came there were still many trees with green leaves. Many of the pictures taken are of the same house as last winter.
