Boarding Up

Another update, a contractor is in the process of boarding up the Lighthouse Keeper's House (Pete's House) and the lantern section of the Lighthouse. A few openings were notice in the windows, so this is just a protective measure until restoration plans can move along.

The protective boarding installation for the Lighthouse has been delayed, it seems the pigeons have moved back in and made another mess of things. I will keep you updated.

The remaining bird droppings were clean out of the Lighthouse today and all the windows in the Lantern Room were finally boarded up. Hopefully the birds now have no way to enter the structure.
