RUSHTON DAVID PASSED AWAY ON JULY 5 2009
RUSHTON, David Passed away on July 5, 2009 at St. Peter’s Hospital, in his 69th year, after a long and brave battle with cancer. Dave was the devoted husband of Joan Rushton (nee Draper) for 39 years. Beloved father of Roy Rushton and his wife Patricia and their beautiful daughter Clare. Adored by his daughter Jodi. Brother of Alan Rushton and his wife Christa. Brother-in-law to Earl Draper, Pete and Audrey Shavalier, and Joyce Wright. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews and his many wonderful Stoneybrook and Beach friends. Dave was retired from Stelco and Citizen Action Group. Dave will be remembered for his positive attitude, fighting spirit and his wonderful sense of humour. A special thanks to all of the staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and St. Peter’s Hospital. A private cremation has taken place.
