Lift Bridge now operating.

I was stopped by the Lift Bridge on my way home today, another sign that spring is just around the corner.
Today's lift was just for testing as I didn't see any ships, the official openning date is March 20th, 2008.

Maybe we should put green dye in the canal for St. Patrick's Day or just make it an official holiday, or just do both. Then a boat would have to go through.
A day off in February and March.
(Lets not bring up the Family Day shortcomings)

Hey! I'm all for a day off from work.As long as it can be taken when we want it off during the year.Make it a floating stat holiday. Know what I mean?
