Dear Friends of the Lighthouse,
The next meeting of the Beach Canal Lighthouse Group is at 2pm Sunday, March 13th at the Hamilton Beach Rescue Unit, across from Dynes Tavern on Beach
Blvd.
Our guest speaker will be restoration architect Chris Borgal, who is a member of the team which prepared the initial assessment of the lighthouse
and keeper's cottage at the end of 2004. Chris will talk about the assessment, about lighthouse restoration, and will answer questions. It should be a fascinating discussion!
We'll also provide an update on several developments since our last general meeting, talk about ideas for our summer schedule of events (including the return of the "Lighthouse Lane" street sale in July) and introduce our new Chairman of the Board. All this ... and lighthouse cookies, too!
