Annual Hamilton Beach Garage Sale – Sunday July 12, 2009
• Each year the garage sale, a fun all day event, is held on Beach Boulevard. Please, if a sale site is set up near your properties ask the vendors to remove their trash at the end of the day. Bitumar will once again be placing bins along the boulevard that they will empty throughout the day. They do not collect trash left on the boulevard or streets. This is the 4th year Bitumar staff have generously offered their time.
• The Garage sale is a perfect opportunity for us all to thank and support Jimmy and Susan Lomax for their 51 years of dedicated work by visiting them at 231 Beach Boulevard between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and donate to operation Santa Claus. Established in 1958, Operation Santa Claus brings joy to less fortunate children and seniors in the Cities of Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford. Only with the help of public and corporate donations throughout the year have Jimmy and his elves been able to continue. Let us all help keep Santa’s sack full.
Donations of new toys and gifts as well as cash will be accepted.
• Or send donations to: Jimmy Lomax, 231 Beach Boulevard, Hamilton, L8H6V8
Fax: 905-545-3554.
