Whickham sounds right - it is on the other side of Knapman - always mix them up! I only knew the older gentleman, not his family. Others on that street were Moodys, Elizabeth ? and Norman (who I think married Rosemary Kemp) They were there in the late 50's and 60's. I lived on Knapman along with Barkers on the corner and Kings.

I checked with Mr. Shewfelt, he didn't know the full name of this guy, but suspects that you are correct. He remembers him living where you wrote and calling him "Gibby".

hello Scotto, "Mr Shewfelt"! sounds strange - I remember him about 8 yrs old.
Gibby was the older brother, that looks more like Denny the younger one
