Further to my previous correspondence regarding the Confederation Park Master Plan, please note that the City of Hamilton is hosting a Public Information Centre (meeting) to discuss the first phase of development for the park. The plan involves converting the former campground area into an active and passive recreation area that will include new trails, sport fields (soccer & cricket) and a playstructure for children.
Citizens and interested parties are invited to attend the PIC to view the presentation materials and provide comments. Project information is posted on the City’s web site at www.hamilton.ca/LAS.
The meeting details are as follows:

6:30pm to 8:30pm, presentation at 7:00pm
Lakeland Centre, Lakeview Hall (lighthouse building)
