Rita BUTA (nee Tamborine) BUTA, Rita (nee Tamborine) Unexpectedly with her family at her side at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital on June 13, 2010 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her Husband Tony in 1986. Loving Mother of Gloria Galvin (Jim), Betty Weatherhead and Leon (Judi). Cherished Nana of Bob, John, and Jeff Galvin, Brenda-Ann Jenner (Matt), and Tom Weatherhead (Tai); loving Great-Grandmother (GG) of four Great-Grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Ted Tamborine and Marge Urkevich; predeceased by her siblings Jimmy, Johnny and June. Survived by her sisters-in-law Helen Obreza, Lois Tamborine and by many many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be sadly missed by her favourite pets Teddy-bear and Molly. Rita was a long time beach resident of 67 years, she was an avid euchre player, member of the Beach Rescue Seniors Club, and a member of the Young at Heart Euchre Club at Legion Branch #58. Rita also enjoyed many years of crafts, sewing, knitting and quilting. A special thanks to her family doctor, Dr. Tish Hannon and the staff of the Joseph Brant Hospital I.C.U. Friends are invited to call at TRUSCOTT, BROWN & DWYER FUNERAL CHAPEL (1309 King St. East, across from Gage Park at the delta) on Wednesday, June 16th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Prayers at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 17th at 12 p.m. with cremation to follow.
