It's that time of year again - the Around the Bay 30k Road Race is scheduled for Sunday March 25, 2012.
Please give yourself plenty of extra time if you plan to drive along Beach Blvd. As in past years the race will setup by 10am and should be done by 1pm.
The Hamilton Around the Bay 30k Road Race will have over nine thousand runners running over the Hamilton Canal Lift Bridge in the oldest road race in North America.
Each year the Around the Bay Road Race has grown and is now one of the largest, historical races in Canada. The Bay Race is also a fundraiser for St. Joseph's Hospital Healthcare Foundation with over $1 Million dollars raised so far.
This year will be another record year with over eleven thousand participants in the 30k and 5k from all over Canada and the United States.
