We need your help to curb industrial air pollution!
The two steel companies (Stelco, Dofasco) and one partner company (Harsco) have their environmental permits expire at the end of the year. The Ministry of Environment (MECP) has proposed a last minute extension for another 2 1/2 years without much scrutiny of how the companies' performance is and has been in the past. This will have negative impacts for the air we breathe.
Together with Environment Hamilton we are hosting a virtual workshop on how to make comment submissions to the Ministry. This is an opportunity for the community to voice their opinions about these proposals. Learn how to submit your comments and get a list of concerns.
