    Pics I Scanned

Better eye than me. The Black Bay Edit; I put the two pictures together in this thread and I can see a couple differences between the Murray Bay and the Black Bay. Though minor, the port bow section where the two holes are for letting out the lines, that part is longer on the Black Bay.

    South Park (Rembe) Ave.

Before all the streets were renamed on the (we became part of Hamilton) Beach, Rembe Ave. was named South Park Ave. Attached is a picture that was sent in by a member showing the street back in the early 20's (my guess). And this photo from a few days ago, it looks like there is only one...

This lamp weighs about fifty pounds because upon further...

    The Burlington Canal Bridges

I will say yes they were allowed to use the bridge, but I will check through some old newspapers to see if I can find proof of that. Edit; I have moved some of these Herald/Bay Road Race posts to the Herald Marker thread...

    Beach Store Moving

The owners of the Lakeside Variety will be moving the store a little further south on the Beach to the new building near the school. Beach Sanitary Sewers

David asked about the Beach sewer project from many years ago and asked in another thread when it was done, so instead of going off topic in the other thread (which I do all the time) I decided to start one. My original answer was around ten years ago as I had thought that I had just finished...
