theres one almost identical between rennie and morley st on a lawn, its still there I didnt take it LOL, I have a bunch of bizare stuff that I should get looked at some day.
It would be interesting to know how much these are worth. My brother has these pics. Everyone says she looks like Olive Oyl LOL Possible they were done in the 1860s, and were done in charcoal. It was this man who made my old oak table. They are my 3rd great grandparents on my father's side. Jane was born in 1822 and John was born in 1828. John looks to be in his 40s then?

Yea I wished I had them in my possession. But as long as they are kept in the family is ok with me.
Jane was born in aristrocrasy in England. And she fell in love with John their landscaper and she eventually married him. After she did that her family disowned her. In her family's eyes she was supposed to marry a well to do like they were. So they decided to move to Canada to get away from her family.I forgot what year they came to Canada. I would have to look it up on ancestry.ca
It shows they arrived in 1854 to Canada. It also says those pics were done as a wedding gift to them. He looked older to me in that pic. So he was only in his 20s in that pic? Hmmm.
Not sure what year they married. They had their first child in 1849.
I was watching a program on PBS about a photographer who took family pictures in rural Arkansas back in the early 1900's. A bunch of his negatives were found in 1970 and all of his pictures became very much wanted. There were people paying farmers $2,000 for old pictures that they didn't even remember who they were.
Your family photo remind me of those, except your relatives are smiling.
